Electrical Project Engineer

JOB SUMMARY Manage all projects/work requests from the Engineering Manager from design phase through completion.  Perform other tasks as required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide engineering support and project management for Company-wide Engineering projects. Meet with appropriate people to discuss work orders or new ideas and forms of implementation Manage all phases of project/work order completion Meet with vendors on job quotes as needed Budget/manage all costs associated with projects Review nature of projects with contractors or in-plant personnel.  Provide necessary information to complete scope of work and quotes. Regular attendance required Some travel (International) will be required. Performs other position appropriate duties as required in a competent, professional and courteous manner. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES Knowledge of NEMA and total quality standards applicable to the manufacturing process. Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the manufacturing facilities and other pertinent rules/regulations governing work standards. Knowledge of maintenance and electrical principles. Ability to readblueprints, computer literate, and do costing / justification. Proficiency in ladder logic programming is preferred for both AB and Siemens PLC's.  Ability to communicate well in oral and writtenform at all levels of the organization. Must be able to perform duties independently and manage multiple priorities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering EXPERIENCE: 5 years of Industrial Electrical Engineering experience. WORKING CONDITIONS PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Light work. Tasks involves pushing / pulling, lifting, and handling material up to 20 pounds plus standing and walking during a minimum eight hour shift ENVIRONMENT: Located in an environment with regular exposure to fumes or odors, temperature extremes, or loud noises which cause noticeable discomfort or moderate risk of accident or illness. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
