Assembly Mfg Engineer

Job Description This position supports or directly impacts the overall performance metrics for new launch products and Process. The Assembly Engineer establishes and directs manufacturing cost andinvestment estimations, practices, processes, facilities, tools and equipment for production to achieve safety, quality, and productivity, environmental andfinancialobjectives. Job Requirements oMethodically analyze assembly processes and drive cost and investment estimations, establish and ensure consistent and efficient flow to optimize manpower to meet quality targets in a high volume production environment. oEvaluate and conceptualize estimations for future process or changes of current process to improve tooling, work holding and ergonomic opportunities to support production in this fast paced setting. oServes as primary liaison with cross-function Product Development Teams providing Design for Manufacturing (DFM) input for new products, and acting as the primary interface and transition of new product to a full production environment. oDesign and implement efficient processes using lean manufacturing principles, to enable single piece flow in a pull system philosophy for existing products or new product launches as appropriate. oConduct assessments of existing or proposed manufacturing processes to provide focused improvement opportunities to increase production efficiencies, eliminate waste, reduce inventory, reduce lead times, increase quality and improve safety and ergonomics. oLead cross-functional teams to implement 5S, standard work, set-up reduction, and problem solving/rapid change. oComplete PFMEA analysis in a cross functional environment. QUALIFICATIONS oBachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering is required, advanced degree desired oMinimum five-year history in heavy manufacturing production environment to include product launch experience required oPrevious experience with lean manufacturing methods and Toyota Production System based manufacturing preferred oExpert user of appropriate office and manufacturing related technologies, CAD experience required oHands-on preference to work in manufacturing floor area when necessary to resolve issues with all levels of personnel oAbility to work in a cross-functional environment, gaining consensus and cooperation oAbility to make decisions under pressure and on tight time lines oAbility to manage multiple projects, prioritize workload and meet deadlines with a problem solving mentality oAvailability to travel 40%, mostly locally in the Carolinas required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
