The Controller is a business partner of the site Director and provides financial guidance to the leadership team at the National Parts Operations Center (NPOC) located in Fletcher, NC. The Controller also has functional reporting to the Electrolux corporate finance group. The NPOC Finance Department is comprised of the following areas:  Accounting, Reception, and Business Process Reengineering. The Controller supervises a Sr. Accountant, two AP clerks, a freight AP clerk, and two business process owners.  The Controller is responsible for site compliance of all financial controls, financial planning and financialreporting for the NPOC, direct ship locations and Canada CSG. This position resides with an office area located within a finished goods facility, which is primarily a warehouse environment that includes a kitting assembly packaging operation. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  Manage and supervise the NPOC Finance Department people, resources, and processes to ensure accurate financialreporting and proper operational controls, as required. Responsible for monthly close process including all documentation required on timely schedule as directed by corporate accounting. Interprets financial trends and operational data to effectively support leadership in achieving facility cost excellence.   Achieves financial objectives by planning, in conjunction with the facility leadership team, an annual budget and required periodic updates, while documenting operational root causes and financial impacts. The Controller must model customer passion for all levels of teammates across the organization as well as display a genuine commitment to teamship and its four pillars: engagement, collaboration, transparency, and goals. Responsible for the coaching and development of staff. Appraises performance and provides corrective action when required to meet department objectives.  Provides oversight, guidance and analysis, tools, methodologies and reporting across NPOC departments in a collaborative manner supporting financial and operational control activities. Responsible for meeting or exceeding the health and safety, quality, and productivity targets of the department.  Compliant with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company policies and procedures. Works closely with the Senior Accountant to create an environment of financial accountability and control through Electrolux Control Systems by reviewing and implementing best practices across the NPOC. Electrolux Control Systems requires annual audit with hands-on involvement by Controller through the entire process. Works closely with the Director as financial subject matter expert and business partner on matters of financial planning, forecasting, and accounting, as well as other matters, as appropriate. Accountable for Employee Engagement initiatives and results within the Finance Department. Minimum Qualification Prior leadership position in a manufacturing or distributionfinance role CPA or CMA 4-yeardegree in Accounting or related discipline 8-10 years Controllerexperience in a warehousing or manufacturing environment Inventory accounting experience in a distribution or manufacturing operation Lean management participation and certification is preferred (or must be obtained) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Financially control large-scale improvement projects  Eliminate waste through cost reduction projects year-over-year  Manage people, including the ability to motivate, mentor, and train others  Interact, engage, and lead others  Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization  Delegate effectively and hold others accountable for results  Continuously improve and team building  Recognize priorities and plan accordingly   Be flexible, adaptable, and lead teammates during times of change  Perform in a manner consistent with Electrolux values and professional responsibility  Lead by example and instill in others a sense of mission, urgency, enthusiasm and organizational pride  Use accounting software and computer systems efficiently and effectively Communicate effectively both orally and in writing

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
