Manufacturing Process Coordinator (MPC)

Job Description
Leads and supports the Shop Floor IT, MES technologies for the manufacturing equipment and focus factory management.
Basic to MidLevel proficiency of discipline:
Knowledge of Information Technology or Engineering and Shop Floor manufacturing technologies used in production areas in the facility
Coordinate 24hr MES support to appropriate teams
Coordinate 3rd level support to IT MA or other 3rd level service providers using the incident management process within Continental
Expected to interact with the manufacturing management, IE and shop floor employees on a daily basis to ensure 100% availability of the shop floor infrastructure and provide troubleshooting and technical resolution of any IE/ IT related line slows or stoppages.
Works on Shop Floor problems of moderate to advanced scope with limited direction.
Recognized resource for technical questions pertaining to his/her Shop Floor infrastructure support requests.
Interfaces daily with Continental location manufacturing management and technicians to ensure that production and quality controls are being met. Interfaces daily / weekly with Continental Central MA Core Teams when necessary.
Performs testing and troubleshooting of IT/ IE support requirements and tasks.
May determine support priority and may deviate from established project priorities depending on need, as results meet standards of acceptability (e.g., volume, quality, timeliness, accuracy).
Works independently with work results checked periodically by the site IE Team Leader or Manager.
Recommends new Shop Floor functionality and processes to management based on experience and expertise.
Works with Continental Central and Local IT Teams such as Data Center, Networking or Service Desk for additional troubleshooting.
May participate in customer certifications and customer visits to ensure efficient and accurate shop floor control functioning.
Drives technical release activities coordinates release activities within the location.
Implementation of MES / PRiME for new lines or equipment integration
BS in Engineering or Computer Science preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
