Material Handler Department:
Production-Fletcher ONSITE POSITION ONLY Requirement Overview Reporting to the Production Lead, these positions are very hands on, active roles and would suit candidates who are used to working in a fast-paced environment, who are confident in prioritizing workloads and adapting workload with changing business demands.
Material Handler is responsible for carrying out general line operations according to planned operational requirements in order to safely deliver a continuous supply of production materials to the production lines.
As a core member of the operations team, the Material Handler plays an important role in meeting Production Targets and will identify process or line issues to leaders.

Previous demonstrable experience in a manufacturing and/warehousing /logistics environment is preferred but training will be given.

Role and Responsibilities Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Maintains in-process inventory at production lines by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
Provides a continuous supply of appropriate materials from storage areas to production lines.
Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
Receives credit-return/Scrap material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity; placing such materials in the correct location.
Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, unloading and securing product on flatbed / tractor trailer.
Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs where authorized.
Ensuring safe packaging of all customer products Pro-actively helping with solutions to improve production Liaising with the Production Lead regarding any outstanding tasking within production and actively participating in their resolution.
Operators are required to ensure that the production area and all pertaining to it is kept clean and hazard free Person Specification The successful candidates will need to demonstrate on a sustained basis in their employment the following.
A high standard of proficiency in handling production equipment.
The ability to organize, count and record material.
Understanding and adherence in following both written and verbal work instructions.
To communicate clearly with existing and potential external partners and to other staff at Emtelle, in respect to activities processes and methodologies employed in the department.
Highly self-motivated, disciplined and organized.
Time Management, they will deliver a high and sustained standard of attendance and timekeeping.
Able to work effectively in a physically demanding environment.
Able and willing to commit to working shift patterns and also overtime as required.
These will be continental patterns rotating from day to night.
Focused on cost management.
Knowledge High School Diploma:
GED Manufacturing experience in a comparable environment and disciplines:
