Summary:
Responsible for the set-up and operation of Die Casting Cell used in production processes.
Work from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models.
Shift between activities as production demands, determine and correct more machine malfunctions.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Starting up of the high-pressure die-casting machines.
Responsible for quality checks and the documentation of information as required.
Collaborate and work within continuous improvement teams on plant projects.
Able to detect casting errors visually and analyze out of tolerance conditions Assist other team members with troubleshooting and machine operations as needed and work in a team environment.
Submit and implement lean and safety suggestions.
Set up and operation of various production equipment.
Interpret work instructions and understand all features of a finished product.
Interpret machine operations, gages, and functions to insure proper machine operation.
Maintain department 5S requirements.
Responsible for maintaining production documents Shows understanding of all Quality process controls and documentation.
Has the ability to use all the equipment safely and correctly.
Responsible for the quality of the parts from the Die Casting Cell.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Minimum of two (2) years of manufacturing experience a plus.
Experience in high pressure Die Casting a plus.
Knowledge of basic shop mathematics Ability to use hand and power tools Strong Attention to detail Effective communication in both oral and written skills What's In It for Me:
