Summary:
We are searching for an experienced Part-Time Receptionist to provide exceptional service to our patients.
The Front Desk Receptionist:
May be required to open center at 5:
30 a.
m.
-powering up computers, checking phone messages, make coffee, etc.
Communicates with patients and families, physicians and staff Register and admit patients and process their paperwork Prepare patient charts Update patient demographics/information in system Collect monies due and prepare daily deposit log Answer incoming phone calls.
Other duties that may be assigned by management Required Skills:
High school graduate or equivalent.
One year previous experience or some hospital/medical clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.
Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties.
Thirty-five (35) wpm typing skills required.
Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills.
Familiarity with patient engagement software.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
